Did you miss me?

Hello friends!!! Please forgive me, it has been 8 MONTHS since my last post. I'm sure you haven't been able to sleep at night due to missing me more than life itself. ;-) Truth be told, I have missed this! It has been a much needed break though! I had big goals when I first started the blog. I started my marathon sprint and I'm sad to say that I got burned out really fast! I have re-evaluated my goals and I'm going to start blogging again. I hope that you will all start to join me...again. I'm not going to start with Recipes I Can't Wait to Try for a little while longer, until I get back into the swing of things. So please be patient. =)

What have I been up to for the last 8 months?

My good friend Amanda and I started our own business....8 months ago! *wink* We make candy, cakes and other baked goods. We started out strictly doing candy, but there has been a demand for us to make cakes and cupcakes as well. Here's a sample of some of what we've been doing...

Recipes I Can't Wait to Try #54

Hi everyone!

What a wild week I've had!!! I got to go camping with my husband and children this past weekend for my birthday! Yep...another year has passed. I am now the ripe old age of 31. ;-) A friend of ours made me feel real good when he pointed out that I'm no longer 30, but a "30 something". :-/ Oh well, it was bound to happen eventually. =) Back to camping... We had a wonderful time! My children were absolutely filthy by the time we left. That's always a good sign of good times. This week, I'm a crazy lady. My friend and I are selling homemade candies in a holiday bazaar at my son's school. This week is going to be filled with candy, candy, and MORE candy! I'm going to be one sticky and worn out momma before this week is over!
